队标的颜色是蓝、金、红3色，主色蓝色来自路易斯安那州的州旗，新奥尔良市旗上也有这3种颜色。金色为了展示新奥尔良人精力充沛的生活和他们众多的庆祝仪式，同样金色经常出现在鹈鹕的“王冠”上。红色代表有爱，同时也展示了母鹈鹕给孩子的供血，和在鹈鹕喉咙下方充满活力的颜色，新奥尔良市旗上也有这3种颜色 。鹈鹕是路易斯安那州的州鸟，同时也是该州旗帜和标志上的图案。
吉祥物名称：皮埃尔
此前在与其他吉祥物打比赛时撞断鸟嘴，接受“整容手术”。皮埃尔的手术已经成功，在2014年新奥尔良全明星赛中复出。事实上，在皮埃尔受伤之前，它曾被称为体育界最恐怖的吉祥物。它那张血红色的大嘴经常吓坏年轻人和小朋友。现皮埃尔的血红大嘴变成了黄色，眼睛也不像过去那样可怕。

Jrue-Reddick-Ingram-Zion-Horford with Lonzo spotting 24-30 minutes at guard off the bench would be a good team. Reddick really opens up their offense and adding Horford would take their spacing and passing to the next level. That's like a 4th seed team in the West year 1 of Zion, close to 48 to 52 wins.
